About Ty Price Hall

Tŷ Price- St Thomas’ community hall has been completely refurbished and extended. The building is now more accessible, light and spacious. It is available for community groups and private hire. We now have four rooms, including a main hall with a fully-equpped kitchen and acces to an enclosed garden.

There is a programme of regular activities including parent, carer and toddler group, various groups for children and young people from Rainbows, drop-in tea and coffee sessions, and Life Skills and Money Management courses.

Many activities are undertaken in partnership with other groups and organisation and we welcome new ideas that may be of benefit for the community.
The redevelopment of the hall cost over £500,000 which was raised partly through a grant from the Welsh Government’s Community Facilities Programme, from other grants and donations and from fund-raising events mainly led by St Thomas’ Church, Overmonnow. The work was completed in the spring of 2017.

The Church is legally responsible for the management of the hall but it is open for all to use. A ‘Users and Community Committee’ enables active members of the community to share in the management of the hall. St Thomas’ Church is a charity but exempt from registration as part of the Church in Wales.
