Christmas Services 2020

Monmouthshire is now under Tier 4 rules, and places of worship are able remain open. However, due to the worsening situation with more people needing to shield, we have sadly had to cancel some of the planned services. Please check here again for further updates closer to the time of a service you wish to attend.

We have taken advice from the Archdeacon and so long as wardens have the commitment of sufficient people to steward and sanitise a church, it may remain open for worship. We therefore anticipate that most of our planned services will go ahead. Some of our churches were hoping to have small choirs for Christmas, but this is presently discouraged. It goes without saying that the extremely vulnerable and anyone with Covid symptoms should not attend.

Please note: The services in red text need to be booked to comply with social distancing. Please contact one of the church wardens, or email

We also have three online carol services for you to enjoy here.
