Events previously on this website will unfortunately be cancelled due to Corona virus restrictions.

On Tuesday 17th March the bishops of the Church in Wales asked for all public worship to cease, in order to respect the current health restrictions. As we would wish all in our community, for the sake of their own health, as well as the health of relatives and the health of the wider community, to respect these health restrictions, we are suspending our church services. But we will provide online resources, including a link to an act of worship each week, to keep our life of common prayer alive.

We will be posting resources for worship on this website, including videos of services, and these will be updated regularly.

We are also establishing a database of agencies and individuals which can help to support our community. If you feel you can help, including online support which can be provided by those in self isolation too, then do get in touch with me. Also if you are in need of help, please contact us and we will put you in touch with someone who can assist you.

We are still community – apart as much as together, because we are one in Christ Jesus. Please join me in saying the Lord’s Prayer and the Grace at noon every day and we will truly be together in prayer.

Prayer

Lord Jesus Christ, you promise to be with your people when they pray together, whatever the distance. Be with us, as the community of Monmouth, when we reach out to you and to one another in prayer; that we may know that nothing, in life or death, sickness or health, separation or anxiety, can separate us from your love. Amen.
