The second public meeting to discuss the future of the Parish of Llangwm and the St John’s building which is currently closed and facing repair.

The meeting will consider the future viability of the parish and the requirement to form a functioning and effective Parochial Church Council; and the community support to raise the funds and carry out both the necessary emergency repairs to allow the building to re-open and the urgent repairs and restorations identified in the professional report comimissed at the request of the previous meeting.

The Quinquennial Inspection report says:

….there is significant sign of structural movement, and decay in the stonework, both of which are significant. The west gable of the porch presents a DANGER to users of the building and it is recommended the the church should be CLOSED until the gable can be propped and then repaired.
