Guided Prayer in Advent

Date:
Time:
16:00pm - 17:00pm

A four week experience of guided prayer during Advent offered
by the Usk and Raglan Ministry Areas.

Finding it difficult to hear God’s voice?

Wanting to know what God is saying to you?

Why not learn a new way of using God’s word?

Jesus went up on a mountainside by himself to pray.” (Matthew 14:23).  This is one example from the Son of God of how to listen to the Father.
And if Jesus longed to hear from God why shouldn’t we?

During this Advent we will be conducting Guided Prayer sessions, for which you will need to be able to devote at least half an hour each day in private prayer, plus half an hour per week debriefing with a prayer guide – but you’ll be amazed how God will honour your commitment.

Opening session for all participants on Sunday 25th November
Closing session for all participants on Sunday 16th December
both at 4.00pm in Gwehelog Village Hall.

Please let us know if you are interested in taking part,
and to find out more please email:

You will be provided with some specially selected scripture to pray with each day – this will take no more than half an hour – and to make some notes to help you recall your prayer experience in your conversation with your prayer guide.

A wonderful way to work through Advent and to prepare for Christmas will drawing closer to God and experiencing His love for you in a new way.
